Jada Mendoza (she/her) Jada Mendoza is a Toronto based creative. She joined Lengthy Tangent in 2024 as a Staff Writer for Peculiar Radio Season 2. She is now an Episode Creator on Theme Party: The Podcast and serves as Head Writer on The Collection of Moira Graves. She also voices a variety of characters on Peculiar Radio Season 2 and Theme Party.

Jada earned her Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto where she double majored in Human Biology and English Studies. Now, she mostly works within the publishing industry. Her professional work includes writing image descriptions for accessible audiobooks at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). During her time at CNIB, she also acted as producer, director, editor, and voice actor for several projects. More recently, she worked in marketing for Simon & Schuster Canada. Currently, she works as a freelance editor for a range of clients including Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group.

For her whole life, Jada has been invested in storytelling. In her spare time you can find her writing about film, TV, books, video games, and other media on her Substack. Otherwise, she’s reading Wikipedia articles, writing elaborate plots about her original Sims 4 characters, voice acting on Twitch with her friends, and just generally being a fan of Scooby-Doo (she has seen 23 out of the current 38 direct-to-video Scooby-Doo movies. It’s a whole thing).
