Shae Strong

Shae Strong (they/she) is a voice actor and audiobook narrator.

Shae Strong has technically been a narrator since the age of 4 when they read their favorite memorized stories to their family members (prior to learning to read). Branching out into acting and comedy came naturally to them as their parents clapped and siblings rolled their eyes.

During a long life detour in a “Serious Profession” (aka, tech entrepreneurship), Shae developed strong leadership skills, legendary perseverance, and a whole lot of hustle. Alongside all the business-ey stuff, they carved out time for some passion projects such as producing the podcast In Good Company, launching a coworking space, and managing tech events. 

A combination of pandemic-related introspection, personal health hurdles, and being “a certain age” (ahem), lead Shae to write an ending to the tech story and start searching for new horizons. 

What was at first a simple exploration of career change options, soon became a time-eating, attention-dominating, deep dive into voice over and narration. Their past experiences in business and marketing made the transition into freelance voice work feel like putting on a comfy hoodie (of which they have many, because: Techie). 

Shae does not do things in small doses, and their rapid ascent in the world of voice acting is a result of the intense focus and personal drive that characterizes everything they do.
